Fortunately for me, I had retired as a school superintendent and had the time to spend. Fortunately for you, I have done the legwork and have learned possibly the most valuable lesson, which I now pass on to you – FOCUS!

As one of my mentors, Jimmy D. Brown, says, “People ask me all of the time what are the “must haves” for making money online. And I always tell them the same thing. There are only three things that you need to have a hugely successful internet business.

1) An offer.

2) A list to promote the offer.

3) Traffic to build the list.

That’s it. End of story. You need nothing else.” Couple that with Don Crowther’s advice to “Just go do it!” and you have a winning formula. You see, most people feel like they have to wait until everything is perfect before launching a website or starting a business. That is one of the biggest obstacles preventing you from being successful. Come up with an idea, develop it, build a list, and run with it! You’ll be glad you did.

On a personal note, Diane and I live on beautiful Lake Barkley in western Kentucky. We have six wonderful children and twelve (yes, 12!) grandchildren. I worked most of my career as an educator being a superintendent, principal, and teacher. I have also been a professional magician for over thirty years. In addition, we have two real estate related companies where we buy and sell property, do house flips, have some rental properties, and some days just drive around looking at property! We are trying to do some traveling while we’re still young enough to enjoy it and always look forward to spending time with the family at the lake.

I’ll close with a quote from that great philosopher, Yogi Berra, “If you come to a fork in the road – take it!” which to me means don’t put off until tomorrow what you can do today and don’t wait until everything is perfect – “Just go do it!” Here’s hoping all of your marketing is magical and successful –
